This session will be the first part of making your own pet! We will begin with the history of pets, artificial pets, and interactive systems. We will also brainstorm ideas for your own (maybe first!) digital/physical companion.

Physical computer skills are recommended but not required! This Session will be lecture only, thus no material is required. Do bring pens and paper to help with brainstorming ideas/ sketching.
