Please bring a small textile object that you need to repair

In this workshop we will learn mending techniques! We will focus on soft/textile mending during this workshop (patching, darning, sashiko), but will also look at other forms of repair and multimedia mending. We will discuss some theory (new materialism and anti-capitalism) and policy around mending and repair, the value of everyday objects, and everyone will have a chance to start mending an object of their choosing!
