Hi all, thank you for signing up for Accessibility 101.

Through the 1.5 hr session, we will be creating a toolkit to make sure the work and documentation we produce at ITP Camp are accessible. We will start by understanding the different guidelines available like ADA and WCAG for physical and digital accessibility. We will then explore some accessibility tools and plugins for designing and evaluating our work. We will end this part by using of the tools to evaluate a website or a product.

We will then look into various toolkits available for designing with accessibility in mind like Microsoft's Inclusive Design Toolkit, IBM's Accessibility Toolkit, Universal Design Toolkit, etc. We will finish with an exercise where we use the methods from the toolkits to design an accessible product or a service.
