Contribute to a paper sculpture that we'll make together and put on display on the floor!

The session will be an introduction into the polyhedral world of modular origami. We'll talk about how we can fold really simple units and interlock them to create a larger, more interesting structure.

We'll be briefly looking at some examples of modular origami online, both structured and unstructured, to motivate the folding session. Then we will fold modules and put them together to have a big polyhedron paper sculpture that we made together!

It'll be an interesting exercise in creating kind of an assembly line for communal arts and crafts...

No experience in anything needed, just bring your hands and your tentative enthusiasm for paper crafts!
