Session 4: Intro to Computer-aided Design Fabrication

Digital tools and technologies could significantly speed up your prototype fabrication processes. They enable us to test ideas in the physical realm with high levels of precision, using less manual labor. This session focuses on learning to take full advantage of a digital design workflow in the prototyping / fabrication phase.

Please come to this session with Rhino, Ultimaker Cura and Adobe Illustrator pre-installed on your computers. Ultimaker Cura is a free software, while you could try Rhinoceros for free for 90 days before you will need to purchase a license. Having Adobe Illustrator installed is not a necessity, but would be ideal.
