This cooking show will walk you through a basic agar agar bioplastic recipe. It takes about 30 minutes total except the cure time, which can be a few days.

To follow the recipe, you’ll need:

• 60g vegetable glycerin
• 30g agar agar powder
• 800ml water
• [optional] a few spoons of white vinegar and alcohol
• [optional] ppirulina powder or other food coloring

In terms of equipment, you’ll need:

• Hot plate or gas stove
• Non-stick pot
• Silicone spatula
• Baking sheet or a stable surface to pour and cure the bioplastic
