Julia Irwin

Julia Irwin is an artist and interaction designer drawing on a background in social sciences research and creative writing. She collaborates with biologists at NYU Langone Medical Center, reimagining their research in the form of new media installations. The work exhibited in the Tisch Reiss Lounge and was supported by the Tisch GSO Grant. She is also a co-founder of Wild Type Lab, a cross-disciplinary research studio that cultivates collaborative, creative projects for scientists and artists.
