MOFAD

The Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD) is a nonprofit that is launching the world’s first largeĀ-scale food museum with exhibits you can eat. As the organization works toward its goal of opening a brick-and-mortar museum in New York City, it is launching a series of exhibits and programs to generate excitement for the project.

The museum’s first mobile exhibition, BOOM! The Puffing Gun and the Rise of Cereal, features a fully functional one-and-a-half ton cereal puffing gun and has been viewed by thousands of people at venues around New York City. Described as being “off to an incendiary start” and “gaining traction,” MOFAD’s innovative approach has drawn accolades from numerous media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The New Yorker, and National Public Radio.
