Moving forward, for all further Fall 2022 ITP non-major registration requests, please contact Dante DelGiacco at dpd266@nyu.edu for a list of classes. Fall 2022 ITP course availability for non-majors is subject to change, as add/drop activity will be ongoing through 09/14/22 at 11:59pm ET. A reminder that not all ITPG-GT classes that appear as “open” in Albert will be available for non-major registration, as we need to reserve seats for our incoming ITP class, who will register on 08/02/2022 at 10:00am ET. ITP Tier 1 Foundation courses: Applications (ITPG-GT 2000), CL: Hypercinema (ITPG-GT 2004), CL: Visual Language (ITPG-GT 2005), ICM (ITPG-GT 2233), ICM: Media (ITPG-GT 2048), Intro to Physical Comp. (ITPG-GT 2301) are reserved for incoming ITP 1st year students until 08/16/22, at which date, non-majors may begin inquire about availability for these courses (with the exception of Applications which is only open to ITP students). It is your responsibility as a non-ITP student to check with your home program to be sure a pass/fail ITP course may be credited toward your degree requirements. ITP / IMA Media Fee Disclaimer: Please be advised, ITP / IMA courses are assigned a $274.00 Media Fee, which applies to ITP / IMA students as well as non-departmental students. For non-departmental students, the fee is charged for registration in one (or more) ITP or IMA courses, but not a combination of both. For departmental students, the fee is charged regardless of registration in departmental courses. This fee grants students Equipment Room check-out privileges, as well as access to the physical computing shop and machines in our departmental space in 370 Jay / 4th floor. The Media Fee is non-refundable.
