Swan Song 2012

Swan Song by all willing 2nd years

The Swan Song is when willing 2nd years recount their biggest failures at ITP and hopefully pass on some wisdom in doing so. If we learned anything at ITP it’s definitely learning how to FAIL in the most awesome ways.

Spring Classes 2011 (TUESDAY!)

November 15, 2011 – Moderated by Natalie Be’er

(TUESDAY! TUESDAY! TUESDAY! )

Don’t miss this special DriveBy seminar on Tuesday. A must for first year students!

In addition to explaining the elusive but almighty algorithm that will decide your fate, second years will pass on their experience and wisdom regarding Spring course selections.

We will quickly run through the list of Spring classes (posted on Monday, November 14th, 2011). Second year students in attendance will offer their unadulterated critiques of return course offerings as well as their personal experiences with professors offering new courses.

This is a great way to inform your course selections. ITP is too short so making informed choices about your courses this Spring is essential!

We look forward to seeing you there.

This special DriveBy session will take place in the lounge area due to expected attendance size.

Civilization IV

November 10, 2011 – by Matthew Rader and Nick Santaniello

We plan to cover an introduction to one of the greatest PC games of all time: Sid Meier’s Civilization IV.

A triumph of artistry and a labor of love, the depth of Civilization IV is not for the faint-of-heart… but even the uninitiated can appreciate the game’s crisp visuals, beautiful soundtrack and unabashed love for history.

We’d cover the details of production, the game’s place in the convoluted Civilization timeline, critical reception, modding/expansions, and of course, gameplay strategy!
