How do I get started with my first semester?<\/summary>\n<p>We will host an <strong>Incoming IMA Group Advisement<\/strong> session <strong>on Zoom<\/strong> to help you get started at IMA. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/tisch.nyu.edu\/student-affairs\/advisement-academic-services\/registration-handbooks\/interactive-media-arts\">check Tisch&#8217;s registration page<\/a> and we will also send an email. During the session, we&#8217;ll answer your first semester questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will also host a few <strong>in-person<\/strong> <strong>IMA&nbsp;Orientation<\/strong>&nbsp;events in late August. We will send an email about orientation and slide decks will be posted in <a href=\"https:\/\/brightspace.nyu.edu\/\">Brightspace<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New Transfer Students<\/strong>: You will receive your advising spreadsheets prior to registration. During one of your classes, we will host a group advising session to talk about registration. You will receive emails about the session during the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the session, the slide deck from the<strong> IMA Cohort: Spring Registration Advising <\/strong>event<strong> <\/strong>will be posted in <a href=\"https:\/\/brightspace.nyu.edu\/\">Brightspace<\/a>.
