The Media Commons operates under the auspices of NYU&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyu.edu\/about\/leadership-university-administration\/office-of-the-president\/office-of-the-provost.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Office of the Provost<\/a> and is managed by Samantha Skinner, Director of Technical Operations, and Jhanele Tiffany Green, Facilities and Events Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All requests to book 370J Media Commons spaces are submitted via the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/nyu.edu\/370jmediacommons\/reservations\/booking-tool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Booking Tool<\/a>. Students, faculty and staff submit a request, which is then routed to their departmental scheduling liaison for pre-approval, before it is seen by Jhanele Tiffany Green for final approval. Under certain circumstances, requests for rooms 221 &#8211; 224 and 233 that are four hours or less are eligible for automatic approval. Noah Pivnick is ITP\/IMA&#8217;s scheduling liaison and available to help you navigate the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before submitting a request, please make certain you&#8217;ve read and understand the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/nyu.edu\/370jproject\/our-policy\" target=\"_blank\">370J Shared Spaces Policy<\/a>, especially those policies regarding booking and time limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re having difficulty accessing the 370J Media Commons website or the Booking Tool please open a browser window in incognito mode then sign in with your NYU account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note before you can book production spaces (rooms 220, 221 &#8211; 224, &amp; 230) in the Media Commons, you must have taken the required <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/nyu.edu\/370jmediacommons\/reservations\/safety-training\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Media Commons Safety Training<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>370 Jay Street includes a number of multipurpose rooms formally known as the 370J Media Commons.
