Rios is and artist and educator. His research interests include physical computing, traditional and digital fabrication processes, educational systems, and puzzles. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University and an M.P.S. from ITP / NYU.
His work utilizes physical computing and coding to make a variety of playful interactions, performative devices, and educational installations. He has managed the 3D print and laser cutting facilities at the Parsons Making Center and taught at the City College of New York. He is currently a Teacher at ITP and IMA.
