In Fall 2018, NYU launched an interdisciplinary undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interactive Media Arts (IMA). The IMA program starts from the proposition that computation \u2014 the ability to code, learn new software, manipulate data, and create physical + digital interactions \u2014 is an essential creative capability, and that students who master those capabilities will be well-placed to invent the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE FALL 2027 COMMON APPLICATION will be available later this summer.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Please check the Common App<\/a> site to apply for IMA for Fall 2026!  IMA no longer requires standardized test scores for admissions. We do however require creative materials. Please click here with instructions on how to submit your creative materials<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
