Courses Taught: Copyright, Cyberlaw, and the New Free Culture

For the past year I have been working on, or with the free culture movement in one form or another. After interning at Creative Commons in San Francisco I moved back to NYC to stage the first of their kind DRM protests, and organize several other related public events. In the Spring of '06 I was given the Creative Commons Cultural Fellowship and now work with organizations, schools, and major art institutions in New York to help shape their copyright policies through the use of Creative Commons licenses. I look forward to exploring and discovering new opportunities for free culture, free software, and politics at ITP.
