Josh Rooke-Ley

Josh is co-founder of Uncommon Projects, which specializes in solving unconventional technical challenges for artists and forward-thinking companies. Most recently Uncommon completed work for artist Marie Sester's ACCESS, a public art installation that was exhibited at Ars Electonica and SIGGRAPH. In 2003 Josh received an artist-in-resident grant from Eyebeam Atelier and worked briefly at NYU's Center for Advanced Technology. Prior to founding Uncommon, Josh worked at Organic Inc., initially in the Research & Development Lab, where he worked on experimental new media projects for Lucent, The New York Times, and The American Museum of the Moving Image. Josh was also a lead developer on several large-scale web development projects at Organic including tommy.com and reebok.com.
