Since my project is focused on reconnecting people and provide a subtle and immersive experience. By the end of the last semester, I already circle back to an intersection of two different directions. One of them is letting the audience explore the interpersonal space to trigger sound another is a voice assistant guide activity to let people get closer. For the second one, the voice assistant will try to engage the users’ attention on the screen, but finally, it will push the user far away from the screen to a specific position in the present room.

I tested the second one with a shareable prototype on the spring show.

You can find this version and video document here:

Two things need to improve:

  1. I need to finish the ending part and answer the question: what’s the feeling I want to give the audience and I hope it could end up at a meaningful moment, what is that? I think the user’s choice/reaction is where the immersive and shareable experience comes from.
  2. probably combine the two version, let the first one attract the audience to the action
  3. make the script more sense till the end of this week, determinant for the narrative to be engaging users, it should be more fiction or more realistic?

And I would like to define my KPI in this project as:

-50% of people understand the narration and think it makes sense, at least have the awareness to nowadays two much screen time and want to reconnect people after experience the project

-20% of people have the motivation to share and discuss the project

-it can be installed and testing in a physical environment

It will be failed when:

-If people didn’t understand anything about the project

-the script and narration doesn’t make sense

-most people quit before they experience end
