Safe Driving
The development of automobiles has a history of more than 100 years. In addition to ordinary human-driven cars, autonomous vehicles have also entered the application stage. But driving safety has always been a topic that cannot be ignored in the history of automobile development, because Safe Driving is related to the safety of human life. This is the subject I hope to discuss with you.
In my preliminary mind map, I designed 3 possible solutions to encourage people to drive cars more safely.
- Try to design an safety alarm system which will remind driver when some mistake happen. And will also correct driver’s mistake directly if there is no driver response after system remind in few minutes. Meanwhile, the system will skip the driver to take emergency measures before the life-threatening emergency occurs. This application could be in the form of a mobile phone APP or a vehicle embedded system. This is to assist people to drive safely from an objective perspective
- From a subjective point of view, government propaganda is essential. It is recommended that lively and interesting safety driving publicity can be arranged in obvious locations where people gather. For example, shopping malls, airports, office buildings, schools, supermarkets, etc. In order to avoid people’s disgust, the propaganda content can avoid real images, but can be expressed in cartoon form to achieve the effect of attracting people of all ages. The purpose of publicity is to make people pay attention to the importance of safe driving all the time, and even change from attention to a habit.
- Also, in addition to publicity, regular assessments are also essential. Drivers are required to take a safe driving test monthly or annually. The result of the test will affect the points of the driver’s license. Points will be deducted for those who fail the test, and points will be awarded for those who get full marks. The content of the exam cannot be static, but can use some recent accidents as case analysis to make questions. This ensures that the driver can learn about safe driving issues that may be overlooked during his driving.
