After chatting with these wonderful guests, they gave me so much valuable feedback. And the biggest change I felt was how to present my ideas and opinions to others. It includes how to explain my thesis and views, and how to state my final form in words and devices.
In the process of communicating with the four guests, I found that I would revise my text outline and details of my works after each meeting.
In addition, they gave me a lot of useful Tips and unique innovative ideas.

To be specific, my first guest is Rudi Cossovich. This time, my speech was too full. In 20 minutes, I almost went through the whole process of the last month but Rudi listened and asked questions about a few key details. Obviously, what I think is rich information is not accurate enough in other people’s view. This is very helpful for my speech. In addition, we focused on how to make an overall design, such as the specific structure of the exhibition and the poster for publicity. For example, the lighting in the exhibition hall should be darkened. Only with several floor night lights. In the middle is a screen with LED light bands, which can illuminate the faces of the audience. Rudi suggested that I go to NYU Shanghai and have a face-to-face chat with him to see if there are any resources available. As for the design of posters, he suggested the use of electronic posters and video portraits. Dynamic images are more attractive than static photos.

The second guest is Monika Seyfried. The meeting with Rudi helped me modified my text and some details. Happily, Monika seemed to be understanding of my presentation and didn’t have any questions about the process. She gives great advice from an artistic and technological perspective. For example, in the first part of showing strangers, she said that she could show a pair of eyes first, because eyes are the basis of gazing, and eyes have no skin color, thus no preconceived views. In addition, she also mentioned the relevance with the current specific groups.

Then the second morning came with Tong Wu. I am very glad that she is interested in my project. Since I have had the experience of two guests before, the speech part also went well. Tong mainly gave me a lot of advice on my future planning. For example: “a rough Timeline. You can build a simple prototype using a Web camera and a laptop; You can pre-record some material in case not too many people are online at the same time; You can start writing simple programs or coding. At each new step, it is necessary to find a friend to do the experiment in time.”
Finally, Tong also pointed out that it is very good to conduct the experiment in NYU Shanghai because there are many international students who have a western perspective. On the other hand, I can find some ethnic minorities in remote areas of China or local farmers and retired workers in Shanghai. So that I may have more diversity, also have more interesting examples. As for consent, she said that try to inform the audience before the exhibition begins, so as not to interrupt the experience or distract attention in the middle of the exhibition.

Anna Greenspan was the last one, she suggested me to look at more similar works of art and study how other artists connect concrete works of art with abstract ideas. And Anna suggested that I write an email to her, Rudi and Craig, and try to apply for a corner in NYU Shanghai, so as to realize this thing as soon as possible.
