Art and the Language of the Emotions
https://www.jstor.org/stable/428143?seq=1#metadata_info_tab_contents
This research paper talks about the expression of emotions in the process of creating art. There’s always an emotional import that sparks an artist’s interests to create, like a sad melody of the music or a sweet little puppy. Then the artist will objectify the emotions, creating an image of it to arise in the conciseness of others who will look at the art. There’s a whole process of “inspiration-creation-contemplation-judgment-and correction or approval” until the artist becomes satisfied.
I think this paper enriched my knowledge of how to create art that evoke emotions. Because for my thesis I’m thinking about creating an art that has a meditating and calming effect. I think transmitting the right feeling will be really important and I want the feeling to be as accurate and strong as possible. So I think getting more emotional import at the beginning of the process will help me gain a better sense of the emotions. So when I objectify it later, things can go on the right track.

Dream Review
The art provides a strong sense of calmness and peace. Especially when you have a super busy life and everything feels chaotic, you will find it very relaxing.

Can you discuss some installations/performances/paintings/etc that made you feel a certain emotion? When was the last time a work on a profound effect on you? Why did you feel that way?

Could you explain or describe more specific about what is the “right feeling”, and how you think “Media, interaction, or experience” could shape accurately?
