Our main product, the STYLYT Design Studio, is a web-based, multi-platform, real time product configurator. Users customize a product in a brand\u2019s collection and enter it to the design contest. The STYLYT community scores all submissions and the winning design is eventually manufactured and sold exclusively on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stylyt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">stylyt.com<\/a> as a limited edition item.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>We are building a team of passionate, creative, entrepreneurial individuals who want to be a part of something innovative and fun.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">The position:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a creative technologist\/lead developer to contribute to STYLYT\u2019s creative vision, define and execute the technology strategy, and help STYLYT build a scalable technology platform. Primary responsibilities and skills include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all technical aspects of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stylyt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">stylyt.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Evaluate scalability of current platform and recommend options to build a more scalable solution (including server-side applications, java, SVG based renderings, others).<\/li>\n<li>Manage existing product including maintenance, updates and improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Lead product transition from private to public beta.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in PHP\/CSS, MySQL, Javascript and Processing required.<\/li>\n<li>Web design, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator experience a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Compensation depends upon experience and can include a combination of equity and salary. An ideal candidate will join us full time, but we will consider stellar part time applicants and are happy to help formalize a school project for credit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interested in learning more?
