Qualified candidates  will be advanced undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in a  relevant field.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Under the supervision of department heads, interns have the  opportunity to become familiar with the full range of Museum operations.  Applicants must be able to work at least ten hours per week at the  Museum between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter specifying your  department of interest to <a href=\"mailto:internships@movingimage.us\">internships@movingimage.us<\/a>.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Collection Curatorial Assistant: Interns will assist in the  acquisition of objects for the Museum\u2019s collection, and interact with  prospective donors.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Collection Research and Cataloging: Interns will assist in  researching and cataloging objects in the collection, which includes  technical apparatus, still photographs, licensed merchandise, design  materials, costumes, fan magazines, publicity materials of all kinds,  video and computer games, and historical movie theater furnishings.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Collection Management: Interns will become fully familiar with the  collections management function, including the storage, maintenance, and  conservation of objects.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Digital Imaging: Interns will assist with the digital photography  and scanning of artifacts in the Museum collection and institutional  archives.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Digital Media: Interns will provide technical assistance for the  Museum\u2019s exhibitions and will assist with the planning and  implementation of digital media related programs.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Film: Interns will assist in research, preparation, and  implementation of screenings and discussion programs in the Museum\u2019s new  theater and screening room and will prepare supporting materials,  including program notes.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Public Information: Interns will assist with a range of publicity  and marketing initiatives to promote Museum programs, including  press-list management, community outreach, coordinating the Museum\u2019s  weekly e-mail newsletter, maintaining press kits, and compiling press  clippings.<br \/>\n&gt;<br \/>\n&gt; Web Development: Interns will assist with the design and execution  of a new section for online exhibitions on the Museum&#8217;s website.
