You will take a role within EA University<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will join EAU (EA University) whose purpose is to transform how EA achieves its business results.\u00a0\u00a0We accelerate the development of people, organizational transformation and business process change.\u00a0\u00a0We are an interdisciplinary team helping EA not only be the industry leader but also a pioneer in the new forms of digital entertainment.\u00a0\u00a0While we are intense, we also believe in having fun every day at work!<\/p>\n

You will concentrate on leadership and organizational development that promotes the \u201cprofitable creativity\u201d of EA.\u00a0\u00a0That means fostering creative people building high quality entertainment in ways that lead to the best possible business results.<\/p>\n

You will work with senior leaders within EAU and across the company.\u00a0\u00a0You will develop yourself and your skills in program design and execution.\u00a0\u00a0Given that you will be working with senior people and right in the middle of strategically important initiatives, you will grow as fast as your capabilities and motivation support. You will receive mentoring from EAU staff with senior levels of experience in the field.\u00a0\u00a0This is a 12 month contract position.\u00a0\u00a0Given that your contributions warrant and the right circumstances, there may be future opportunities for you at EA.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Support the design, development, and delivery of EA\u2019s leadership development and organizational effectiveness programs.\u00a0\u00a0You will especially concentrate on the following program areas:<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Leadership accelerator programs \u2013 intensive development experiences for high potentials in the areas of business and studio leadership<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Strategic action teams \u2013 innovation teams pursuing EA transformation<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Business acumen initiatives that build the financial and business skills of EA managers<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Business process change including EA\u2019s game development process<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Knowledge creation and transfer programs<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Executive level organizational transformation initiatives (these evolve based on strategic needs of the company)<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Across all of these programs, you will be involved in the design and delivery to the full extent of your capabilities<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Manage logistics and operations to deliver a high quality experience to all the participants in these programs.\u00a0\u00a0This ranges from the complex to the routine \u2013 but all needs to be executed with high quality levels<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Operational responsibilities in this position are expected to average 30-50%.\u00a0\u00a0At times, they will spike higher as we all work on program operations to deliver an event or program<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage program calendars and participants<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Coordinate events and program deliverables<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Author and deliver participant communications<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Produce materials (digital and hardcopy)<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Analyze results, report progress, track budgets<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Make us smarter and better – continuously improve our program operations<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Partner with colleagues inside and outside of EAU to support program success<\/p>\n

Experience and qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Strong achievement orientation and desire to have an impact on EA people and programs.\u00a0\u00a0A sense of humor is a plus.<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Career interests in Learning, Organizational Effectiveness, and HR<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Experience organizing and managing events<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Strong planning, organizing, and execution capabilities<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Proven capacity for personal productivity skills (either you have them or can get them quickly)<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Personal organization and prioritization skills (for instance \u2013 approaches like \u201cGetting things done\u201d by David Allen or similar approaches<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel & Power Point<\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Flexibility and productivity in the face of changing priorities<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Interpersonal effectiveness – work collaboratively and communicate well with all levels<\/p>\n

Education required and provided<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0Bachelor degree required<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0You might have completed a Bachelor\u2019s degree and be ready to accelerate your career.\u00a0\u00a0This could be a stepping stone for your future<\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0You might also be a graduate student (Masters or Doctoral) and in the process of completing a thesis.\u00a0\u00a0This could provide you with internship or post-doctoral experience.\u00a0\u00a0There are master\u2019s and doctoral level staff in EAU.<\/p>\n
