The ideal individual will have a deep understanding of marketing principles and the creative process, but also have a passion for the Web and emerging technologies. The Web Project Manager will typically oversee multiple projects, shaping the overall strategies as well as managing the schedule and resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Translate business, marketing, and user needs into effective, scalable web strategies<\/li>\n<li>Develop and own content strategies for new and existing web properties<\/li>\n<li>Shepherd the creative and development processes to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within strategy<\/li>\n<li>Manage cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and content editors to successfully execute on strategy<\/li>\n<li>Develop and distribute planning documents and project briefs to cross-functional team members and key stakeholders Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules<\/li>\n<li>Manage project budgets and relationships with external agencies and contractors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-2 years experience in web project management<\/li>\n<li>Deep knowledge of the web development process including scope definition, information architecture, user experience, web technologies, content development, and metrics<\/li>\n<li>Keen understanding of marketing principles such as branding, content development, and visual design<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with and managing cross-functional teams<\/li>\n<li>Effective communicator and team player with strong organizational and execution skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with web content management systems<\/li>\n<li>Fluent with common web technologies such as HTML, CSS, SEO, CMS, and analytics<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department preferred<\/li>\n<li>Ideal candidate will enjoy working with web technologies and grasp new ideas quickly<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with editors and publishers a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.\u00a0 No phone calls or agencies please.\u00a0 ALM is an equal opportunity employer that encourages and values diversity.\u00a0 M\/F\/D\/V<\/p>\n<p>ALM places a high value on employees and strives to be an employer of choice.
