This<br \/>\nis a full-time paid 3 month internship. \u00a0The intern will have a fair<br \/>\namount of creative freedom in developing a number of interactive<br \/>\nobjects. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into<br \/>\nexhibition\/environments design.<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency with Arduino<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with at least one of the following: Processing,<br \/>\nOpen Frameworks, Javascript<\/li>\n<li>Basic electronics and electronics assembly (comfortable<br \/>\nsoldering, etc)<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing various<br \/>\nsensors using protocols such as: serial, i2c, spi, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing various I\/O components such as buttons, switches,<br \/>\nLED matrix, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nice to have (but not<br \/>\nrequired) skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working<br \/>\nwith actuators such as servos, motor drivers, etc.<\/li>\n<li>PCB layout<\/li>\n<li>Experience with openframeworks, Processing or Cinder<\/li>\n<li>HTML5 experience<\/li>\n<li>Android development experience<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of OOP and Design Patterns<\/li>\n<li>Form making (CAD, model making, laser cutting, etc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Applicants should send a resume and cover letter to Kerry<br \/>\nShaw (<a href=\"mailto:KShaw@rockwellgroup.com\" target=\"_blank\">KShaw@rockwellgroup.com<\/a>)<br \/>\nwith the subject: Physical Prototyping Intern.
