Santa Fe International New Media Festival<\/p>\n

C a l l f o r N e w M e d i a S u b m i s s i o n s<\/p>\n

currents 2012<\/strong>, the\u00a03rd annual Santa Fe International New Media Festival <\/em>will be held<\/p>\n

in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA \u2013\u00a0June 22 \u2013 July 8, 2012<\/strong>. The Festival explores the role<\/p>\n

of technology and the diverse applications of New Media in the arts.<\/p>\n

This year submission categories include single channel video, video and sound<\/p>\n

installation, interactive new media, animation, computer\/software modulated sculpture,<\/p>\n

multimedia performance, experimental and interactive documentary video, Digital Dome<\/p>\n

projection, art gaming and web art.<\/p>\n

The Festival will be held in several venues throughout the city: El Museo Cultural de<\/p>\n

Santa Fe, the Center for Contemporary Arts, the Santa Fe Complex and the Digital Dome<\/p>\n

facility at the Institute for American Indian Arts. In addition to exhibitions\u00a0currents 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

will offer panel discussions and workshops, and two nights of multimedia performance.<\/p>\n

Festival events are free to the public.<\/p>\n
