This project has the potential to change the way American history is perceived and taught by future generations. The goals of the venture are to bring together disparate facts and people through the Internet and then to leverage this new resource in the pursuit of business opportunities. The first steps will be collating information from a wide variety of sources, ranging from the web to printed text, into a website and building a community of researchers to make productive use of this web tool.<\/p>\n<p>The Project Manager will work closely with Mark to specify and guide the development of this website. The position encompasses project management, web interface design, and information science, and it requires a candidate with strong communication, organization, and management skills to execute the project.
