CALL\u00a0for\u00a0SUBMISSIONS:\u00a0DEADLINE, December 1, 2011<\/strong><\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

This Studio Program takes place in the Carriage House and the galleries are transformed into working space.
\n3 artists will be selected who wish to use the space as a studio from February 1 through April 30, 2012 (3 months).\u00a0 Each artist will be given a large, private working area with 24-hour access to the building.\u00a0 Please, visit this link\u00a0for\u00a0a detailed floor plan:

\nThe Museum wants to give artists an opportunity to work on demanding projects that would normally be difficult to do without the space offered by the Carriage House.\u00a0 Be sure to write a one-page proposal (max.) describing your project and why the space offered would be beneficial to the progress or completion of such a project.\u00a0 During their residency, artists may use the space however they see fit; to begin work, complete work, and display it to the public, collectors, or dealers.\u00a0 There will be an Open-Studio at the end of the program and the Museum will cater and promote the event.\u00a0 Other benefits include a small catalog and studio visits from prominent persons in the Arts. <\/span>Each artist will receive a stipend of $500\/month if selected for the residency.<\/p>\n

If you or anyone you know is interested in applying, please send (NOTE NEW GUIDELINES):
\n1) 1 page (max.) proposal outlining your project and why the Carriage House would help you to realize it.\u00a0If known, please indicate the number of days per week that you intend to be in the space working on your project (.pdf or .doc)<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/span>2) Up to 7 images of related work (jpgs, 72dpi, no larger than 800 pixels in any direction)<\/strong><\/span>
\nVideo work (clips no longer than 5 minutes; playable computer format\u00a0or send a link)<\/strong><\/strong><\/span>
\n Longer versions of video will be viewed if needed, but only after the initial 5 minutes<\/strong><\/span>
\n3) Image Script or Checklist with title, year, media, and dimensions of work (.pdf or .doc)<\/strong><\/strong>
\n4) Artist Statement (.pdf or .doc)<\/strong>
\n5) CV with contact information and a link to your website (.pdf or .doc)<\/strong><\/strong>
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
