Punch! is a digital media startup that develops and distributes smart, topical, and irreverent original content for the iPad.\u00a0Our top-tier creative team of journalists, editors, designers and technologists are setting out to reinvent traditional media on the tablet. We\u2019re seeking a talented, funny and ambitious editorial intern with a passion for\u00a0news, pop culture and entertainment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Ideal Candidate:<\/strong><\/p>\n

–Has savant-level research-and-reporting skills.<\/p>\n

–Can write with clarity and wit.<\/p>\n

–Possesses broad knowledge of current events, high and low culture, and all things viral.<\/p>\n

–Is at least moderately tech-savvy (no home-schooleds please)\u2014 video-editing experience is a big plus.<\/p>\n

— Is organized, intuitive, and self-motivated.<\/p>\n

–Can take direction and execute complicated editorial tasks\u2014and doesn\u2019t care whether that occasionally means finishing up a project outside the office.<\/p>\n

–Can generate sharp, original story ideas.<\/p>\n

–Is available to start in early January with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week for three months.<\/p>\n
