NY<\/p>\n<p>ABOUT US:<\/p>\n<p>Code and Theory is an award-winning interactive agency with offices in New York and San Francisco.\u00a0 We offer a comprehensive range of services to create focused media and interactive experiences.\u00a0 Founded in New York City in late 2001, we&#8217;ve grown organically through a commitment to creating excellent and innovative work, regardless of medium.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve created game-changing sites for clients such as Vogue Magazine, The Daily Beast and Engadget.<\/p>\n<p>THE ROLE:<\/p>\n<p>As a Jr. UX Designer, you&#8217;ll use your innate passion for user experience, proven creative talent and expert-level abilities in design, user experience, interaction design and user-centered design principles to manage and mentor our team of user experience designers and push our work product to new levels.\u00a0 In this leadership role, you&#8217;ll champion the digital craft and ensure that the team&#8217;s output meets our world-class standard.<\/p>\n<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work with a team of junior- to mid-level UX Designers working across multiple projects<\/li>\n<li>Work with and mentor designers on the team as well as build and push the work to new levels<\/li>\n<li>Execute top quality design work as necessary in alignment with Code and Theory&#8217;s high standards<\/li>\n<li>Work with project teams throughout development and deployment stages to ensure work is of world-class standard<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with Producers and team coordinators to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within budget and timeline<\/li>\n<li>Participate in strategy brainstorms and creative concept development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 4 years&#8217; experience in interaction design<\/li>\n<li>An in-depth understanding of CS4\/5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Flash)<\/li>\n<li>A solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field.\u00a0 Advanced degrees are preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience preparing and conducting user research and usability tests<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Omnigraffle, Fireworks and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Encompass knowledge of motion design (in specific relation to transitions) as well as visual\/interactive\/interface design trends<\/li>\n<li>A portfolio of work demonstrating experience leading or managing the design of complex systems across multiple platforms including mobile and touch based interfaces<\/li>\n<li>Superior attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner, with use of good judgment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>OUR BENEFITS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Small, fast-paced company with great strategic thinking and creative talent<\/li>\n<li>High-profile clients and projects<\/li>\n<li>Vision, Medical and Dental insurance<\/li>\n<li>Summer Fridays<\/li>\n<li>3 weeks&#8217;
