The Foundation\u2019s Student Internship Program, recognized as one of the country\u2019s top programs, provides more than 40 internships within the entertainment industry to undergraduate and graduate students from across the country. All submissions must be postmarked by March 15, 2012.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">The competitive eight-week program is based in\u00a0Los Angeles\u00a0and provides students with real-world work experience and in-depth exposure to the television industry, focused within their specific field of interest. Positions are offered in a variety of sectors of the business, including production, post-production, business affairs, development and public relations.\u00a0 Each intern is hosted by a company that has teamed with the Foundation to create a rewarding, unparalleled learning experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">As part of their duties, interns have worked on top shows such as \u201cCalifornication,\u201d \u201cTrue Blood\u201d and \u201cMad Men,\u201d as well as the \u201cStar Trek\u201d franchise.\u00a0 Several former interns have gone on to illustrious industry careers, working at major networks and agencies and on such hit programs as \u201cThe Office,\u201d \u201cDesperate Housewives,\u201d \u201cBones,\u201d \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d and \u201cThe Daily Show,\u201d to name a few.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Past host companies include CBS, The Disney Channel, E!
