The selected candidate will be part of the Interaction Design Group and
\nwill create and develop physical and digital user interface design
\nsolutions for current and future appliances, from initial concept through
\nproduction in the Electrolux consumer product areas Fabric care, Dish care,
\nFood Preservation and Food Preparation.<\/p>\n

\ndesigns.
\n\u2022 Dare to innovate, propose new solutions challenging the existing ones.

\n\u2022 Interpret and apply new technologies to interaction designs.
\n\u2022 Convert marketing guidelines into interaction designs.

Competencies needed
\nMinimum Qualifications
\n\u2022 Masters Degree in Interaction Design or Bachelor\/Master Degree in Product
\nDesign with at least 2 years of working experience as an Interaction
\nDesigner or Bachelor\/Master degree in Multimedia design. Alternatively,
\nCognitive Science\/Psychology background.
\n\u2022 2-5 years of Interaction Design work experience.<\/p>\n
Design Skills
\n\u2022 Excellent visualization skills.
\n\u2022 Ability to develop content navigation and interaction prototypes through
\nprocess flowcharts, matrixes, diagrams and other documentation.
\n\u2022 Ability to create user scenarios, layouts and all other aspects of the
\nuser interface.
\n\u2022 Professional working experience in developing graphical user interfaces
\n(GUIs), and knowledge and\/or interest in embedded user interfaces and its
\ntechnology.
\n\u2022 Sufficient level of graphic design skills needed for the development of
\nGUIs.
\n\u2022 Highly developed computer design skills (Macromedia Flash (action
\nscripts, animation), Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop and other relevant
\ndesign software), Microsoft PowerPoint, Rhinoceros.
\n\u2022 Aptitude for SW engineering, electronics development and market inputs.
\n\u2022 Ability to create user interfaces based on human factors and ergonomics
\nprinciples, end-user needs perspective.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Understanding the importance of good design and brand values, and their
\nimpact on the business.
\n\u2022 Strong communication and presentation skills to present ideas and goals
\neffectively.
