{"id":11206,"date":"2012-02-16T15:12:45","date_gmt":"2012-02-16T19:12:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/?p=11206"},"modified":"2012-02-16T15:12:45","modified_gmt":"2012-02-16T19:12:45","slug":"gig-ice-t-og-xo-viral-video-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itp.nyu.edu\/opportunities\/2012\/02\/16\/gig-ice-t-og-xo-viral-video-project\/","title":{"rendered":"[GIG] ICE-T \/ OG XO Viral Video Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>OG XO Brandy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Viral Video Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Create a series of viral videos for the OG XO brandy (www.OGbrandy.com) product for\u00a0distribution on YouTube and entertainment websites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Goal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To increase brand awareness through maximizing the number of hits and subsequent word-of mouth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parameters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All videos should be united under one general idea, and have a similar feel to them, so it is\u00a0obvious to viewers that each video is part of a bigger whole.<\/p>\n<p>Ideally, when taken together, all videos tell one cohesive story \u2013 similar to chapters in a book.\u00a0At the same time, each video in isolation should be a finished, self-contained plot that tells a\u00a0mini-story. Each video must provide intrinsic value to the viewer, in one or all of the following\u00a0forms: Inspiration, Entertainment, Enlightenment or Education.<\/p>\n<p>Videos should incorporate the name OG XO as much as possible<strong>. We anticipate that both Ice-<\/strong><strong>T and his wife Coco will appear in the videos, <\/strong>and the best submitted ideas will be those that\u00a0make full use of the brand equity their images carry.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Option A:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3-5 short (under 1 minute) videos that are <strong>NOT an advertisement of the product<\/strong>. The\u00a0end result is not something that could be used as a TV commercial. The Original\u00a0Gangster product should simply be present in some capacity as the backdrop for the\u00a0events taking place in the video.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option B:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3-5 short (under 1 minute) videos that <strong>ARE an advertisement of the product<\/strong>, similar to\u00a0a TV commercial<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option C:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A combination of options A and B.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Limitations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Simplicity and elegance are key both for the main idea and its cinematic execution. No huge\u00a0crowds, expensive sets, CGI effects, etc. should serve as the foundation for either.
