Brief Description<\/p>\n
Senior Interaction Designers are integral to the HUGE process and are
\nkey members of the teams that define the success of so many of our
\nclients online today. Senior Interaction Designers lead research and
\nstrategy, information architecture, and interaction design to create
\nsuperb user experiences. Senior Interaction Designers develop and
\nunderstand the business requirements of our clients then translate
\nthem into experiences their customers will love.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 Plan and conduct user requirements gathering and analysis,
\ncompetitive research, conceptual modeling and usability testing
\n* \u00a0 Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture
\nusing participatory and iterative design techniques including customer
\ninterviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements
\ndiscovery
\n* \u00a0 Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards,
\nscenarios, prototypes, and design specifications
\n* \u00a0 Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and
\ndetailed design rationale both verbally and visually
\n* \u00a0 Manage the interaction design process, drive decisions, track
\nissues, and assist in estimating resource needs and schedules
\n* \u00a0 Participate as a contributor to an interdisciplinary team that
\nincludes visual designers, project managers, product strategists, and
\ndevelopers.
\n* \u00a0 Contribute to the definition scope and phasing of project timelines<\/p>\n
Requirements\/Qualifications:<\/p>\n
* \u00a0 At least 5+ years of user interface design experience
\n* \u00a0 Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors
\nand translate them into actionable deliverables
\n* \u00a0 Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills
\nincluding the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
\n* \u00a0 Must be a self-starter who will bring original ideas and fresh
\napproaches to each project they work on.
\n* \u00a0 Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and
\nmethodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications
\n* \u00a0 Demonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design
\ndecisions – must have an intermediate understanding of major web
\nanalytics packages and SEO strategies
\n* \u00a0 Strong self-management skills as well as ability to work as a
\ncontributing member of a multi-discipline team
\n* \u00a0 Ability to collaborate with other designers and developers to
\nenvision and iterate concepts
\n* \u00a0 Advanced proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as
\nPhotoshop, Illustrator and Visio
\n* \u00a0 BS\/BA in Design, HCI or related degree preferred<\/p>\n
