Senior Mobile Product Manager<\/p>\n
NHL Mobile is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for the product planning
\nand execution of NHL mobile applications, streaming video applications, mobile web sites and other
\nmobile platforms. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining
\nthe product vision, and working closely with a cross-functional team throughout the product lifecycle.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an avid sports fan with product management and leadership skills to
\nplay a key role in shaping the future of NHL\u2019s leading mobile applications business and supporting the
\ncompany\u2019s overall strategy and goals.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\n– Drive all aspects of the entire product(s) lifecycle from ideation to planning and execution<\/p>\n
– Gather, specify and prioritize product requirements, ensure clear communication of those requirements
\nto the business, developers, design and QA<\/p>\n
– Ability to understand key metrics and performance indicators and translate into new products,
\nenhancements, and effective marketing campaigns<\/p>\n
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and manage product strategy and roadmap<\/p>\n
– Join forces with the design team to create product wireframes, design and user interface<\/p>\n
– Manage internal technical resources and 3rd party vendors through the development lifecycle<\/p>\n
– Cooperate with finance, sales and analytics teams to define key product performance indicators,
\nincluding revenue forecasts and usage goals<\/p>\n
– Incorporate product metrics, customer feedback, user research and usability surveys into future builds
\nand enhancements; drive product evolution and decision making based on data<\/p>\n
– Team up with marketing to create product marketing and promotional plans<\/p>\n
– Help create customer care support documentation and troubleshoot reported issues<\/p>\n
– Work closely with Technical Lead and internal stakeholders to evaluate and select required vendors<\/p>\n
– Generate and evangelize new ideas based on new product and technology trends<\/p>\n
Basic Qualifications
\n– Minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience<\/p>\n
– Demonstrated success launching large scale, quality digital and mobile products in a consumer-oriented
\ncompany<\/p>\n
– Well versed in digital product development process<\/p>\n
– Able to draft product requirement documents<\/p>\n
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team player<\/p>\n
– Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority<\/p>\n
– Insightful, innovative and adapts well to a dynamic and fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
– Familiarity with 3rd party analytics and advertising platforms<\/p>\n
– Excellent understanding of great user experience (UE, UX) and how it\u2019s enabled by underlying
\ntechnology<\/p>\n
– Strong familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc) and development languages such as html5,
\nCSS, etc<\/p>\n
– Enthused by the dynamic digital industry and changing behaviors affecting media consumption<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n
– Computer science or engineering background<\/p>\n
– Development experience a strong plus<\/p>\n

\n– MBA degree<\/p>\n
