It is kind of\u00a0reinvention of delay effector attached to motion detectors.<\/p>\n<p>General Project Description:<\/p>\n<p>Recording From My Heart, 2011\/2012<br \/>\nLive performance, media installation, two percussionists, two drum\u00a0sets, two headphones, a music player, and movement censors with\u00a0digital delay system\u00a0Dimensions variable<\/p>\n<p>Recording From My Heart presents two percussionists sitting in\u00a0separate spaces unable to see each other and hear each other clearly. \u00a0They attempt to\u00a0communicate musically while listening to an audible notation of the\u00a0same score called &#8220;Recording From My Heart&#8221;. The presence of another\u00a0drummer<br \/>\ncomplicates the given notation and provides a secondary score. The duo\u00a0attempts to create a musical dialog (sometimes call-and-response,\u00a0sometimes<br \/>\nduet) while overcoming the obstructions to the performance.<\/p>\n<p>The audience becomes a part of this challenging setting as his or her\u00a0position in the gallery space produces a delayed sound of \u00a0drumming.\u00a0The position of audience<br \/>\nin the gallery space activate to play the drummer\u2019s sound back and\u00a0affects the drummers\u2019 dialogue.
