Product Manager\/UX Strategist, Project Decor<\/p>\n
ProjectDecor, an aggregated luxury marketplace for home furnishings and design is seeking a Product Manager\/UX Strategist
\nwho will be responsible for evaluating and recommending changes to the current website and then being an integral part of
\ncreating and executing the product road map. This is a big opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting (and venture
\nfunded) start-up in NYC. We’re looking to hire an exceptional individual with a high level of energy and desire to build a
\ncareer in the home furnishings industry. Candidate must be someone who will thrive in an early-stage environment, be a self-
\nstarter and have the desire to create a new business from the ground up. Compensation will include salary, bonus, benefits and
\nequity and will be commensurate with experience.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Evaluate current UX and process flows.
\nLead copywriting effort and creation of a site vocabulary.
\nCreating the necessary messaging that allows site users to quickly understand available utilities.
\nWireframing and prototyping
\nImprovement of current UX through both systematic user testing and agile re-design based on user feedback.
\nDiscovery, assessment, and prioritization of future feature enhancements for product road map based on both user
\nfeedback and product insight.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
A portfolio demonstrating strong product design skills.
\n2+ years of designing social platforms in addition to consumer-facing ecommerce.
\nStrong copywriting skills
\nExperience developing interactive user interfaces using HTML.5 and CSS desirable. Any experience with jquery is a plus.
\nExtensive experience with design tools and prototyping.
\nDemonstrated ability to plan and execute usability tests is desirable; provide analysis on metrics
