Manage academic, administrative and business operations for the Tisch School of Arts (TSOA) Department of Game Design to ensure effective delivery of services and efficient office operations. Manage a variety of complex departmental academic processes. Manage departmental budget and preparation of financial reports. Supervise staff. Act as administrative liaison with other school and University offices; interpret and apply University policies to plan and manage highly complex administrative matters.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Bachelor’s degree<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

4 years’ of increasingly responsible administrative experience (e.g., managing administrative services\/processes, budgets, and staff) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Previous experience in academic and\/or performing arts environment<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, policy making and event planning skills. Ability to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem solving and negotiating skills. Proficiency and\/or fluency with a wide range of current and historical game technology, platforms, and software including; Nintendo, Xbox, Playstation, PC and Apple computers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Knowledge of current and emerging game technologies and platforms;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Schedule may include evening and weekend assignment<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
