POSITION DESCRIPTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n

You are a thinker and a doer who likes to imagine, craft and design useful and enjoyable experiences. While you are able to think strategically and envision the big picture, you still enjoy keeping an eye on the details and working them out in wireframes, prototypes and documentation. You believe in the power of data and research. You know how to gather information from users and clients, analyze and wrestle it into something that makes sense, and translate it into an efficient design. You constantly remind yourself, your team and your clients of who you are designing for while also balancing user needs with business objectives and scope and resource limitations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You understand businesses are built on trusted relationships, which means quality must be delivered every step of the way. You communicate your ideas clearly and care for their visual expression: you deliver impeccable documents that are easy to read and understand. You take pleasure in explaining the rationale and reasoning behind your decisions. When problems arise, you look for a constructive solution that involves both sides of your brain. You thrive in a collaborative environment, and welcome both coworker and client input. You can lead a team and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.<\/p>\n

You have at least 10 years of experience as a user experience designer, user researcher or information architect. Experience working in the financial industry is a plus.<\/p>\n
