Job Description:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\u2019re looking for a product-design intern or extern who will be involved in every aspect of the development of a mobile-app, consumer-communication platform.\u00a0 Product designers for easi6, Inc., <\/em>work remotely with our engineering team in South Korea on a regular basis, as well as interact daily with our executive team in Jersey City, NJ.\u00a0 This position is project specific and will necessitate that a successful candidate be comfortable working independently and as part of a team;\u00a0 value originality and creativity; \u00a0and not be afraid to take chances with their artistic license, while maintaining a willingness to compromise.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Duties\/Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

-Translate requirements into concepts and engaging designs.<\/p>\n

-Create interaction models, user task flows, and screen designs, including customized UI protocols and exciting color\/layout and typography schemes.<\/p>\n

-Manage and maintain graphic files electronically (logos, icons, photos, and artwork).<\/p>\n

-Collaborate with other designers and with programming\/engineering staff.<\/p>\n

-Develop and maintain design mockups and specifications.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

-Passion for creativity and originality, including artistic risk-taking.<\/p>\n

-Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.<\/p>\n

-Experience with consumer-facing\u00a0mobile application interfaces.<\/p>\n

-Professional skills in\u00a0Photoshop, Illustrator, and familiarity with wire-framing tools such as InDesign, OmniGraffle, or Keynote.<\/p>\n

-Basic skills in Basic, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JS, FBML, WordPress, and Flash<\/p>\n

-Knowledge of prototyping methodologies and best practices.<\/p>\n

-Familiarity with a variety of location-based, social media services (facebook<\/em>, Twitter<\/em>, foursquare<\/em>, Google<\/em>+)<\/p>\n

-Language proficiency in either English or Korean (Able to sponsor non-immigrant H1-<\/p>\n

B visa).<\/p>\n

Plus<\/p>\n

-Intermediate proficiency in video editing (Quicktime, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).<\/p>\n
