\nWeb Designer for Listings Project<\/p>\n
Looking for a front-end web designer to design a dedicated website for my project, Listings Project, a free weekly
\nemail of real estate and opportunities listings serving world wide creative communities and beyond. I create Listings
\nProject every week by reading, curating and personally emailing each lister. There is a fee each time you post your listing.
\nThere is no cost to receive Listings Project.<\/p>\n
There are currently 27,000 people on the list, 1,000 people join a month and there is a 30% open rate for every email.
\nListings Project has been featured in the New York Times twice, Time Out New York three times and various blogs. Read

I am looking to move Listings Project off of my personal website and onto its own dedicated ecommcerce website, which
\nwill clearly outline what Listings Project is, how to join and use it, and will allow listers to post, edit and pay for their
\nlistings.<\/p>\n
This position will allow the candidate to design the site with significant room for creativity. He\/She must have excellent
\ncommunication skills, the ability to work collaboratively and with Listings Project Programmer. Ideal candidate is already
\nfamiliar with and passionate about Listings Project.<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n* Demonstrated excellence in design skills
\n* 3+ years experience in website design
\n*Experience with User Interface and Navigation Layout Experience
\n* Experience collaborating with a programmer
\n* Excellent analytic thinking and creative problem solving skills for visual information design
\n* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
\n* Ability to work under deadlines
\n* Ability to think conceptually and come up with a number of creative solutions to any task
\n* Experience working with high traffic ecommerce website
\n* Team player as well as independent worker
\n* 3+ years experience with:
\n-Mac and Windows platform
\n-Photoshop
\n-familiarity with HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS a plus<\/p>\n
Additionally, candidates should possess basic knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout design.<\/p>\n

\n* Page layout design and custom graphics
\n* Mobile web design
\n* Designing to create cohesive business identity
\n* Design user-friendly and visually appealing website
\n* Building templates that can be easily managed by me and my team
\n* Test functionality of the website in various browsers<\/p>\n
