\nTechnology seeks to find faculty to teach the following courses in the
\nEmerging Media Program for Fall semester, 2012. \u00a0Classes begin on
\nAugust \u00a027, 2012. \u00a0Candidates must possess at least an appropriate
\nbaccalaureate degree and professional experience in the industry.
\nInterested candidates should submit a cover letter and c.v. to Dr
\nDavid B. Smith\u00a0dsmith@citytech.cuny.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\non interdisciplinary, project based learning. \u00a0This is a survey course
\nthat introduces students to current examples of emerging media
\ntechnologies and how they are being deployed. \u00a02 hours lecture, 2
\nhours laboratory.<\/p>\n
\ninteractive media \u00a0development. \u00a0Students will work on simple hands-on
\nprojects to introduce them to best pratice industry techniques. \u00a02
\nhours lecture, 2 hours laboratory.<\/p>\n
\nauthoring tools. \u00a0Taught at the same time as Introduction to Design
\nand Production courses. \u00a03 hours lab.<\/p>\n
\nconceptualize and develop projects based on initial design concepts.
\nThis is a second semester course, and students will have taken the two
\nintroductory courses listed above as prerequisites. \u00a02 hours lecture,
\n2 hours lab<\/p>\n
\ndevelop design documentation. \u00a0Use of case studies, storyboards, state
\nmachine diagrams, and other design techniques. \u00a0A third semester
\ncourse that requires Media Design Foundation.2 hours lecture, 2 hours
\nlab<\/p>\n
