NYU\u00a0<\/strong>TICKET<\/strong>\u00a0CENTRAL<\/strong>\u00a0IS NOW HIRING CASHIERS FOR THE\u00a0<\/strong>F<\/strong>ALL<\/strong>\u00a02012<\/strong>\u00a0SEMESTER.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Job Qualifications:<\/strong>\u00a0 Must have a cheerful, outgoing personality, and the ability to work well under pressure.\u00a0 Good math skills, knowledge of the Internet, and excellent communication and customer service skills are very important. Must have knowledge of NYC culture including Broadway, Off-Broadway shows, music, museums, and nightlife.\u00a0 Sales experience is helpful.Job Description:<\/strong>
\n1) Daily ticket sales
\n2) Light bookkeeping
\n3) Accurately dealing with tickets and money
\n4) Daily organization of ticket counter and signage around box office
\n5) Relaying university information (such as directions, event schedules, etc.) to the university community.
\n6) Occasional errands<\/p>\n

Ticket Central Cashiers enjoy many perks, such as free tickets to Off-Broadway shows and first dibs at tickets for free events.\u00a0 Starting salary is $10.00 per hour.<\/p>\n

In order to apply, you must meet the following requirements:<\/strong>
\n*You must be a current NYU student.
\n*You must be available for an on-campus interview between August 20th and August 22nd.
\n*You must be available to attend a training session at Ticket Central on Wednesday, September 5th from 9:30am-2pm.
\n*You must be available to attend a follow-up training session on Thursday, September 7th, from 5-6pm.
\n*You must be available to work\u00a0BOTH<\/strong>\u00a0of the following cashier shifts during the fall semester:
\nWednesdays from 2:30 pm to 6:15pm
\nFridays from 3pm to 6:15pm<\/p>\n

We cannot consider applicants that do not meet the above requirements.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
