Art21 offers an

independent, “behind-the-scenes” point of view on contemporary art and artists,

producing historically relevant, primary source materials of the highest quality,

exemplified by the Peabody Award-winning documentary series Art in the Twenty-First

Century and the Peabody Award-winning feature, William Kentridge: Anything Is

Possible. Based in New York City but with a global reach on television and online,

Art21’s additional projects include: workshops for teachers and art educators; public

screenings and lectures; a blog and social media initiatives. Art21 recently premiered

the sixth season of Art in the Twenty-First Century in Spring 2012.

Though Art21 is a high-profile project, we have a small staff and a friendly working

environment. Interns are an important part of our office community, and actively

contribute to our various projects. Interns at Art21 are given exposure to all aspects of

the organization through regular contact with Art21 staff members and other interns.

Art21 internships provide a unique opportunity to learn about contemporary art,

documentary video production, educational and public programs, and other related

initiatives. In some cases, Art21 can arrange academic credit in addition to offering a

small stipend.

Art in the Twenty-First Century, Season Six

Watch new and exclusive episodes online

art21.org | pbs.org/art21 | blog.art21.org

Make a donation to Art21

art21.org/donate

facebook.com/art21 | twitter.com/art21 | youtube.com/art21org

Digital Media Intern 2–3 days per week / Small daily stipend available The Digital Media Intern reports to the Director of Digital Media and Strategy.
