SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Education: 4-year Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience<\/p>\n

\u2022 5 years of experience developing web application in CMS workflow-based environment<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Technical:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong skills in a general purpose programming language such as C, C++, Java, C#, Ruby, Python, or the like<\/p>\n

\u2022 Demonstrated experience with Web 2.0 technologies and frameworks – HTML5\/CSS3\/Javascript – jQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML<\/p>\n

\u2022 Solid understanding of MVC, OOP and strong familiarity with principles of relational databases<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience accessing APIs of external systems or social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram<\/p>\n

\u2022 Familiarity with e-commerce concepts and implementation<\/p>\n

\u2022 Basic Ruby on Rails knowledge<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Non-technical:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong sense of ownership, urgency and attention to detail<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-profile environment<\/p>\n

\u2022 Ability to mentor other developers<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NICE TO HAVE:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Expertise in Ruby on Rails<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience with Magento e-commerce platform<\/p>\n

\u2022 Experience with WordPress, RefineryCMS, Drupal, Tumblr, and Cloud-based applications and services<\/p>\n

\u2022 Objective-C, ActionsScript 3, iOS and Android development skills are also welcomed<\/p>\n
