Freelance Senior Interaction Designer<\/div>\n

ESI is looking for a Freelance Interaction Designer to work as part of a cross-disciplinary team developing experience designs for an international corporate client. The Interaction Designer will be responsible for looking at existing communication systems within the company, (both internet and intranet) and help develop a high level strategy that offers alternatives and improvements to the communication structure and activity between the company and its clients<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Interaction Designer should have a working knowledge of networked communication systems at an enterprise level, and have a command of documenting the user experience for various personas and situations within that system. Knowledge of web-based collaborative and social media platforms, current and emerging technical options, and an understanding of organizational communication needs are required.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The goal of this project is to develop a series of high-level solutions and directions that can be pursued in an actual design process. The team will present the client with a report containing a catalog of ideas and strategies that the client can decide to pursue and develop.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This will be a 5-day a week contract position to start ASAP, but with the possibility of longer-term employment should the project continue.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Responsibilities:<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Concept design, overall brainstorming and concepts<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0Facilitation of design process through synthesis of existing data and aspiration of end state<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Preparation of design documentation and presentation materials from early concept through UX and IA documents.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Qualifications:<\/div>\n
\u00b7 Strong experience in UI design and leading and facilitating the design process.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 Design documentation skills, including wireframing, use cases, writing, drafting\/diagramming, creating flowcharts and storyboarding.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 Understanding of digital production techniques.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 Good presentation skills.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 Excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to work well with team members.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 Experience with development of internet\/intranet systems at a corporate\/enterprise level.<\/div>\n
\u00b7 \u00a0 \u00a0 5-7 years experience in the field.<\/div>\n
