The sun rituals could be observed or created by participating artists. I<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">nspired by sun worships observed in various cultures such as Native American Sun Dance, Sun Salutation in Hatha Yoga and Sun gods in Egypt, the project seeks to create the &#8216;perpetual sunrise\/sunset effect&#8217; by continuously playing<\/span><strong> collected video clips one after another as the current time of their original locations meet the sunrise\/sunset. <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>How to Participate<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>1) The video documentation must meet following criteria for installation purpose. <\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Time : You will shoot the video on <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Saturday, November 24th 2012<\/span> at sunrise and or sunset time, rain or shine. It is advised that you arrive at your desired location an hour before expected sunrise\/sunset time to set up your camera. <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Location : The sun ritual must be taken place in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">outdoor space<\/span> with a good <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">visibility<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"> of the sun in the background. Thus,most likely, different locations should be considered for the event of sunrise and sunset. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Camera Setup: Tripod is required. No camera movement. Make sure your camera is standing parallel with the horizon. <\/strong><strong>Horizon should be in the middle of the frame or closest as possible. <\/strong><strong>The footage should be shot with manual exposure, and optimized for \u201cthe sun\u201d shot. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Video length\/format : Each footage should be minimum 15 minutes \/ maximum 20 minutes that will evenly include before and after sunrise\/sunset. It should be shot in real-time(no time-lapse).
