Design Linux software to drive a kiosk with the following components:
\n– Coin Acceptor
\n– Bill Acceptor
\n– Touch Screen
\n– Receipt Printer
\n– Gift Card dispenser
\n– Credit card acceptor
\n– Database of Customer info
\n– Uploadable prices and screen advertising displays<\/p>\n
AND the related User Interface.<\/p>\n

– Coin Acceptor – UK, US, Canada, Mexico
\n – Bill Acceptor – UK, US, Canada, Mexico
\n – Touch Screen
\n – Receipt Printer
\n – Gift Card Dispenser – # of types gift cards possible?
\n – separate money box that can be swapped out without accessing the
\nrest of the machine
\n – extra money box to then insert
\n – Credit Card Acceptor – Needs to work with micropayment guy<\/p>\n

Leftovercash Software<\/p>\n
– Accept exchange rates on a frequent basis from admin.
\n – Accept a list of e-gift certificate codes that will be
\nsubsequently issued to users
\n – Put % premium on exchange rate as defined by admin.
\n – Option to charge a fee for using the machine. Whether this will
\nbe off or on and how much will be defined by admin.
\n – Display amount of $ to be credited towards user purchase after
\nall exchange rates and mathematics have been completed.
\n – Keep a database of all transactions (machine, time, type of
\ncurrency, amount, credit card, amount, cards purchased, zipcode,
\nemail address, all demographic info from credit card). This will be
\nupdated after each transaction is complete, and on timeouts, and
\ntransactions ended by user.<\/p>\n
– Software must be compatible with micropayments system.
\n – Receive e-mail address from user input.
\n – Have rotating display or promotional videos defined by admin.
\nThis should be able to be updated remotely.
\n – Display various vender options defined by admin. Admin will also
\ndetermine which vendor options go with which machine location.
\n – Display vendor pages with info defined by admin.<\/p>\n
– All software remotely updatable.
\n – Remote shutdown.
\n – Remote alarm system and bug displays, ideally identified by which
\npart of the machine is broken.
\n – Remote notification of coin box capacity, bill acceptor capacity,
\nreceipt printer empty, and card dispensers empty.<\/p>\n
– Data of each transaction capable of being sent via e-mail to
\nvarious addresses determined by admin.<\/p>\n
