The NYC Holiday “Hackathon for Social Good” will be held at\u00a0iNDELIBLE<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(535 8th Ave., NYC)\u00a0on December 8th\u00a0from 9:00am to 5:30pm.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A Hackathon for Social Good is an all-day event where a group of dedicated technologists and designers collaborate on a web or mobile app project for a local non-profit group. Sure, it’s an intense, fast paced day, but it’s a great way to compress the project development cycle into a lean and super agile time frame, where a lot of progress is made in a very short time period.<\/div>\n

There are several ways in which you can help:<\/span><\/div>\n

Sign up!<\/strong>\u00a0If you’re a Designer, Programer, UX practitioner or Strategist, this is an awesome and inspirational way of giving back to your community. At the end of the Hackathon, the non-profits and participants will vote on a winning team, who will receive a free two-day pass for the\u00a0WebVisions<\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0show that will be held from Feb. 27 to March 1st at the Theater for the New City – plus, the winning team’s project will\u00a0be showcased at the conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
