Web Content and\u00a0Front-End Programming Assistant<\/p>\n
Tisch School of the Arts Office of Computer Technology seeks to fill a part-time position to handle the following tasks:<\/p>\n
Assist the Asst. Director of Web Communications and the Web Developer with web-related projects, including, but not limited to: processing of media assets (images, text, and video); front-end design & development for Web 2.0 applications and mobile web pages using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript; updating web display templates within Tisch’s content management system.<\/p>\n
The position is available immediately and will run through the spring semester with a possible extension into summer, and beyond, if eligible.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:\u00a0Must be enrolled NYU student, and should have proficiency in current web technologies. Able to self-organize and work independently. Willingness to work with media as well as coding.<\/p>\n
Technical qualifications:\u00a0HTML5 and CSS3, JavaScript (JQuery and other JS libraries, mobile web development and mobile web JS frameworks and XML\/JSON\/XSLT a plus).<\/p>\n
Salary\/hrs:\u00a0\u00a0~$16\/hr, dependent upon qualifications and experience; up to 15 hours per week\u00a0(work schedule can be flexible to accommodate class hours)\u00a0+ extra time over breaks available, if desired.
